Didcot area guide

As Didcot's leading estate agent, our expert and friendly team here at Church Robinson are on hand to help whether you're looking to buy or sell. If you're keen to sell, we'll help you to achieve the best price for your home and will be on hand to help you through every step of the process. If you're looking for a letting agent in Didcot, we can help you find an excellent rental home that suits your needs or help you find trustworthy and reliable tenants if you're looking to let.

In 2017 Didcot was voted 'The most normal town in Britain' by statisticians. An unassuming claim to fame at first glance but when you delve a little deeper you will find this is due to a culmination of its average resident age, marital status, income, house prices, ownership percentages and employment rates. Didcot is actually perfectly balanced - and most of its schools are rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding'. Excitingly, Didcot was named a garden town in 2015, which means it will receive funding to support sustainable and environmentally friendly town developments until 2030, making it a beautiful place to live.

Didcot is a fantastic commuter location. Local residents can easily commute to Oxford which is just 15 miles away and London Paddington can be reached in just 44 minutes from Didcot Parkway station.

Didcot is one of three major growth areas in Oxfordshire. Both the new Great Western Park and The Ladygrove developments provide an abundance of commuter flats and houses. Didcot's rich history also means it's easy to find more traditional style family homes.

Thinking of moving to Didcot? Register with us and we'll let you know about any new properties that come to market before they're even listed online giving you the best possible chance of finding your perfect home.
