Our team takes pride in actively supporting charities and local initiatives, from organising events to volunteering our time. These efforts reflect the same values we bring to our clients: trust, care and dedication.
Standout events we’ve proudly supported
Community giving comes to life through action and at Jones Robinson, we’ve had the privilege of taking part in some incredible charity events over the years.
One of our most memorable fundraisers was our 80’s/90’s disco, which brought together staff for a night of nostalgia, where we raised over £3,000 for Newbury Cancer Care, a charity close to many of our hearts. Another highlight? Our 26-mile walk, a powerful team challenge that raised just under £5,000 for multiple local causes. Blisters aside, it was a day full of spirit! We’ve also taken part in the sleep out to support homelessness; our team deepened its understanding of an issue affecting many in the region.
Every event we support reflects the creativity and commitment of our team. Whether it’s planning the perfect playlist for a themed night or clocking up training miles for a long-distance walk, our people go the extra mile… literally!
The Charities We Are Supporting
We’re proud to support Play2Give, a dynamic Oxfordshire charity that inspires giving through events like fun runs and raffles.
Our ongoing work with Wiltshire Air Ambulance helps ensure this life-saving service continues to reach people in critical moments.
For those facing difficult health journeys, Newbury Cancer Care offers vital comfort and support.
We also support Naomi House & Jacksplace, whose support for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions is nothing short of extraordinary.
We also partner with Julia’s House, ensuring families supported by their children’s hospice feel care and joy even during the most challenging times.
Our Next Event
This year in June, one of our first fundraising events is a Swimathon at David Lloyd Leisure Centre in Newbury. 29 of our staff from our 6 offices have volunteered to swim an impressive 34 miles! This is the distance between our Newbury and Devizes offices along the Kennet & Avon canal. This is a hefty 2,735 lengths! All to raise funds and awareness for those five amazing charities.
