What’s the process?
The sales team at The Jones Robinson Group has over 500 years of local property sales know-how between them and our average team member has been with us for over 14 years. The knowledge and expertise that comes from this experience has a big influence on our internal processes, for example we know that it is incredibly important to get your property priced correctly at the outset.
Statistics show that the first 2 weeks of property marketing on the large property portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla are key to getting the best price. Those first 2 weeks will attract the optimum number of viewers possible for your home because new instructions go out on property alerts and the algorithm will show the newest listings the most often. Even if an agent reduces the for sale price, or the vendor changes estate agent, the portals will retain the original listing date for the property unless it is taken off the market for at least 14 weeks.
With this in mind, our property valuers will not deliberately overprice your home just to get the instruction, and then gradually ask you to drop it to achieve a sale, because it is proven that this will undoubtedly mean you end up selling for less than if you had marketed it at the correct price in the first place! Our valuers pride themselves on being honest and forthright, we will always tell you the truth and we will never compromise on our integrity just to win your business.
