Highlights from Our Halloween Charity Disco hero

On Friday, we hosted our Charity Halloween Disco and are delighted to share that the event raised over £2,900 for our chosen charities. This fantastic achievement puts us well on track to reach our annual fundraising target.

The evening was a tremendous success, filled with great music, brilliant costumes, and plenty of enthusiasm on the dancefloor. Guests embraced the Halloween spirit wholeheartedly, with some attending as pirates, members of the Lambourn team dressed as the Kellogg’s elves, and one attendee turning heads as Beetlejuice.

Adding to the entertainment, we were treated to a special performance by our very own Matt Sparkes, one of Newbury’s viewing consultants, who delighted everyone in his drag persona, Zelda Stone. It was a night full of fun, laughter, and remarkable energy.

Thank You to Our Raffle Donors

A particular note of appreciation goes to the companies and organisations that kindly donated prizes for our charity raffle. The selection of prizes was outstanding and helped us to raise a significant amount through raffle ticket sales. Your generosity played an important part in the overall success of the event.

Supporting Remarkable Charities

At the heart of our fundraising efforts are five exceptional charities, each making a profound difference in their communities:

  1. Julia’s House (Devizes) – Providing hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

  2. Naomi House & Jack’s Place (Winchester) – Offering palliative care and dedicated support for children and families during the most challenging times.

  3. Newbury Cancer Care – Delivering practical support and information for patients and families across West Berkshire facing cancer and other serious illnesses.

  4. Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance – Providing critical care by land and air, ensuring rapid emergency response across the region.

  5. Play2Give – An award-winning charity founded by Andrew Baker MBE BCAv, supporting healthcare organisations including Oxford Children’s Hospital and Sobell House hospice.

We are extremely proud of what has been achieved through this event and remain committed to continuing our fundraising efforts in support of these outstanding causes.

Thank you once again to everyone who contributed, through attendance, donations, or volunteering to make the Halloween Disco such a resounding success. Together, we are making a real and lasting difference.
