To be recognised as one of the top two small estate agents in the South East of England – a vast area jammed packed with thousands of estate agents – is a wonderful achievement and speaks volumes about our staff and the service they provide.
The judging of The Sunday Times & The Times Estate Agency of the Year Awards is a meticulously detailed and thorough process, chaired by The Property Ombudsman, and with the backing of the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents) and NFOPP (National Federation of Property Professionals) to uphold standards and impartiality. The judges comprised highly experienced property professionals including leading agents together with other industry experts and specialists – all of whom have the experience of seeing many different agencies over many years and hence have the ability to contrast and compare one agency with another.
In praising Jones Robinson, the judges’ report detailed our ‘special way’ of conducting business, praising our link between staff attitude and customer service standards. The report also acknowledged our good level of repeat business from clients and the constant internal review of practice to ensure a first-class service is always delivered. The judges also noted Jones Robinson’s ‘Virtual Auction’ facility, as a nod to future selling methods while still maintaining traditional values and techniques.
Charles Robinson concluded: “The judges examined our estate agency using a fine tooth comb in a process that involved mystery shopping, a comprehensive written submission and questionnaire, a rigorous telephone interview and a round-table discussion among all the judges to make the final winners decision. Having been a judge myself at similar awards, I know the judges take their decisions very seriously and awards are not given lightly.”
