We’re at the Move to the Country Show in March
Jones Robinson is delighted to announce its participation in the latest Move to the Country Show, which is being held in South West London on 27th March 2014. We will be exhibiting our current portfolio of property for sale and to rent at this prestigious event, which aims to increase exposure of country properties among city dwellers.
The show, which takes place at the Battersea Arts Centre, features 32 hand-picked estate agencies from outside of London, all who offer an alternative pace and style of living to what you might find in a city. You may well ask why it’s important for Jones Robinson to take part in such an event. Director David Jones comments: “The top line is West Berkshire is a brilliant place to live. We have some stunning character properties, great community facilities, good schools and some of the South East’s prettiest countryside, so it’s great to promote our part of the country. However, a good, free-flowing property market always needs fresh buyers and tenants, and we have identified a large appetite among Londoners who are seeking a more rural way of life. We know you can live in West Berkshire and still keep good links with the capital and with other places, such as Heathrow. We’re tapping in to a ready-made pool of prospective buyers and tenants for our clients which will, in turn, allow West Berkshire’s existing residents to move up the housing ladder or even downsize to a dream home during retirement.”
Potential property investors should also be encouraged that Jones Robinson is participating in the Move to the Country Show. The agent’s Lettings Director, Paul Broomham, says he expects be very busy during the show’s opening hours: “Making the move from city to country is a big step for many Londoners and for some the transition will start with a rented property. Becoming a tenant is a good way of testing out new areas before deciding where to put down permanent roots. The lettings team will be armed with all our ‘to let’ property details ready to help anyone tempted by West Berkshire’s delights. Moving out to the country is a growing trend, especially among families, so we want to capitalise on the movement and deliver good returns for our landlords.”
If you’re thinking of selling or letting your property and would like your home to be featured at the Move to the Country Show, contact Jones Robinson without delay as there’s still time to get your property onto the market before the show.
