Announcing our new Head of Property Management
It gives us great pleasure to announce the promotion of Newbury resident Anna Lyons to Head of Property Management. This latest appointment caps an amazing eight years for local lady Anna as she marks her ascendency from a trainee in the Jones Robinson lettings department to a fully fledged property professional. Paul Broomham, the company’s Lettings Director, says it’s wonderful to have promoted from within the company, especially awarding the role to someone who grew up in Newbury and who still lives in the town: “Anna showed potential from day one and displayed a natural aptitude for lettings. She quickly progressed to a Negotiator then a Senior Negotiator, before finally moving into the property management team when we acquired fellow agent Clive Willis & Partners. Jones Robinson provides itself on providing staff with a nurturing environment, and we will help employees progress their careers within the company. Anna is just one example of what can be achieved in a relative short space of time.”
Anna’s primary role as Head of Property Management will be to manage a range of client’s portfolios, from those of institutional investors through to new landlords taking their first steps into buy-to-let. She will also be responsible for upholding Jones Robinson’s reputation for lettings excellence as well as managing a team of three property managers.
Anna’s promotion comes at a time of lettings growth for Jones Robinson. She says: “There has been an increase in landlords requesting our full property management service and the team has been steadily expanding over the last three years to meet the demand. I am thrilled to be heading up the property management department and one of my first tasks will be to employ a fourth property manager as we look to strengthen our position as the lettings provider of choice for local landlords. Newbury has always been my home and I am proud to still be a local resident. This gives me a distinct advantage in lettings as I am familiar with the area’s advantages and quirks, as well as knowing the Newbury property stock inside out.”
