Kennet School’s fundraising gets a boost from Jones Robinson
Jones Robinson is pleased to announce not one but two community initiatives that are supporting Kennet School in Thatcham. During the spring of 2012, we were approached by a local Kennet School student wishing to raise money to fund a group expedition to Mongolia and China, facilitated by the school. Kelly-Marie Looker asked if she could deliver leaflets for us in return for payment. We were delighted to help and you might just see Kelly-Marie coming up your path on her way to raising funds. Once the students reach their fundraising goal they’ll head off to the Far East in 2013 to help build a new community centre and teach English to the locals in Mongolia, before rounding the trip off with a visit to The Great Wall of China.
We were surprised at just how hard Kennet School works fundraising for good causes, here in the local Berkshire community and further afield. We wanted to show our support so Jones Robinson is donating £100 to Kennet School’s charity fund for every home we sell or let in the school’s catchment area. The offer runs until the end of 2012 and would-be sellers or landlords just have to contact us to participate. Call 01635 35010 or drop us an email.
Keep checking our blog for updates on Kelly-Marie’s fundraising endeavours and subsequent expedition.
