International Day of Charity 2023

With the arrival of the International Day of Charity, we're here to share some updates about our recent achievements and upcoming initiatives.

Marathon Canal-Side Walk

Our recent marathon canal-side walk, covering a distance of 26.2 miles, was a resounding success. A big shoutout to all the participants who joined hands to turn their steps into contributions that matter.

Charity Sleep Out

We are now all set for our next endeavour – the Charity Sleep Out. This event, approved to go ahead, will take place outside our Newbury office in October. We will experience a taste of the challenges encountered by those without homes, shedding light on important issues and raising essential funds to help those who facing homelessness.

80/90’s Fancy Dress Disco

Looking to infuse some nostalgia into your social calendar? Save the date for Saturday, November 11th, when the 80/90’s Fancy Dress Disco takes centre stage. Dig up those vintage outfits and gear up for a night of dance and throwbacks. Ticket sales will commence soon, so stay tuned.

Progress Update

We're pleased to share that our collective efforts have resulted in a fundraising total of £4413. This puts us at 29.42% of our ultimate goal of £15000. Your continued support ensures that we're inching closer to making a meaningful impact!

Contributing Raffle Prizes

Additionally, we invite and encourage everyone to contribute raffle prizes for the 80/90s disco. Your contributions will not only add excitement to the event but also make a tangible difference in our fundraising endeavours. Whether you own a business, make your own candles, or anything in between – we’d love your donations to use in our raffle.

Remember Who We’re Doing This For...

The three charities supported by us are all dedicated to helping those in need. Julia's House in Devizes provides hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Naomi House & Jacksplace in Winchester provides palliative care and support for children and their families during life-limiting illnesses, and Loose Ends charity is a Newbury charity that provides support to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

On this International Day of Charity, let's join hands and amplify our outreach! Your support and participation mean the world to us as we strive to make a positive change in our community. Don’t forget to donate via the link below!
