Charity Update!

News at Jones Robinson | 12/10/2023

At Jones Robinson, we believe in the power of community and giving back. That's why we've embarked on a mission to raise £15,000 this year for three incredible charities, and we'd like you to join us in this meaningful endeavour.

Our journey began with an epic 10-hour canal-side walk, an incredible feat that saw 16 of our staff walking an astonishing 27.2 miles. This marathon effort was just the beginning, and we're not stopping there. We have two more exciting events lined up to help us reach our fundraising target.

Sleeping Out for Homelessness: October 27, 2023

Next up, we're taking our commitment to those facing homelessness to a whole new level. On Friday, October 27, 2023, from 7 pm to 7 am the next day, we'll be sleeping outside in Inches Yard, just outside our Newbury office. This event is not just about spending a night under the stars; it's about showing solidarity with those who don't have the privilege of a safe, warm bed every night.

Get Ready to Groove at the 80s vs. 90s Disco: November 11, 2023

But that's not all! On November 11, 2023, from 6 pm to 11 pm, we're turning back time and hosting an epic 80s vs. 90s charity disco at the Acland Memorial Hall, Hermitage Rd, Cold Ash, Thatcham RG18 9JH. Tickets are available for just £10, so contact us today to secure your spot at this unforgettable event.

We're also seeking your support! We invite and encourage everyone to contribute raffle prizes for the 80s/90s disco. Your generous donations will not only add excitement to the evening but also make a tangible difference in our fundraising efforts. Whether you own a business, craft your own unique products, or anything in between, we'd love to include your contributions in our raffle.

To buy a ticket to the disco, buy raffle tickets or donate to the raffle yourself, please contact Chloe Morey on chloe.morey@jonesrobinson.co.uk or on 01635 570010.

Remember Who We're Doing This For

The heart of our fundraising efforts lies in supporting three remarkable charities:

1.       Julia's House in Devizes: A beacon of hope, providing hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

2.       Naomi House & Jacksplace in Winchester: Offering palliative care and unwavering support for children and their families during life-limiting illnesses.

3.       Loose Ends: A Newbury charity that stands by those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, offering a helping hand in their time of need.

Don't forget to donate via the link below and help us make a significant impact in the lives of those who need it most.
