Can you offer work experience placements for the Education Business Partnership?

We are pleased to support the Education Business Partnership’s work experience programme again this year.  We know that students gain so much from their placements, both gaining an insight into the sector and the workplace, and also by getting the opportunity to develop those essential transferable soft skills.  They could not do this without local businesses offering to help.

Since the pandemic, the working landscape is looking very different - many sectors have moved to home or hybrid working options resulting in less employees in the office to host students.  This, coupled with the current cost of living crisis has meant that some businesses have sadly gone into administration, or are struggling and understandably unable to commit to taking a student.  As a result, work experience placements are harder and harder to come by, at a time when arguably students need them the most, having missed out on so many opportunities over the last couple of years.

Do you know a business who could help by offering a placement?
